78th Independence Day Celebration at Islamiah Boy's Higher Secondary School, Vaniyambadi
Islamiah Boy's Higher Secondary School, Vaniyambadi celebrated the 78th Indian Independence Day today with zeal and zest.
The event commenced with a soulful recitation of Qirath by Mohammed Hannan,I.S of 9F. Mohammed Fawaz of 11 C1 recited the Naath. Headmaster, Janab K. Habeebur Rahman Sahib, delivered the welcome address. He added a touch of historic events of Indian Independence and words of wisdom encouraging the students. Mohammed Ammar Khateeb and Ammar Adnan of 7th A2 rendered the Tamil Thaai Vaazhthu . Our esteemed Chief Guest, AliJanab Mohammed Khalid Mouda Sahib, M.C.A., Subject Matter Expert at DP World, Dubai, and Janab Hafiz Sajid Ahmed Sahib, Secretary & Correspondent of our School hoisted the National Flag. NCC Cadets led by the Troop leader presented the "Gaurd of Honour " to the dignitaries. It was a visual treat and a moment to cherish.
The Chief Guest, AliJanab Mohammed Khalid Mouda Sahib, delivered an inspiring speech emphasizing the significance of independence and the responsibilities that comes with it.
Shaik Ali Hammad and Roshan of 8th A2, sang " Jhanda Oncha Rahe Hamara ," stirring the patriotic spirit. " Lap Pe Aati Hai Dua" was sung by H. Arshad Khaleel and his team, and " Saare Jahan Se Acha" was sung by A. Md Musaib of 9A1 and his team.
Janab Hafiz Abrarul Haq Sahib , Urdu Munshi; Thiru J. Vamil , P.G. Assistant; and Janab N. Mohammed Ismail Sahib, P.G. Assistant delivered speeches on Indian Independence in Urdu, Tamil and English.
The school recognised the hard work and achievements of the meritorious students who secured top three ranks in State Board Examinations with "Certificates of Achievement. Ahmed Raayaf and Kaki Asrar Ahmed of 12th A1 (U-19 category) won 2nd and 3rd place and Jeeva Kanna of 11th (U-17 category) won 3rd place in Block Level Chess Competition held at Government High School, Kothur were presented "Certificate of Appreciation".
NCC Cadets who participated and won various prizes during the *Combined Annual Training Camp (CATC) for NCC cadets held in Madurai, and the NSS Volunteers were given " Certificate of Excellence" in recognition of their dedicative service. The event concluded with a Vote of Thanks by Haji Dr. B. Raja Hussain Sahib , Assistant Headmaster, followed by National Anthem.
The occasion was graced by the presence of Executive Members of VMES Janab Dokku Nasrullah Sahib, Janab T.K. Rafeeq Ahmed Sahib, and Dr. Mouda Abdur Rahman Sahib.
