Schools operating in Tamil Nadu will open from 6th to 12th class on June 12th and from 1st to 6th class on June 14th, School Education Minister Anbil Mahes has said. In many districts of Tamil Nadu, the summer heat is scorching. The public was demanding to change the opening date of the schools considering the welfare of the students. Earlier it was announced that the schools for classes 6 to 12 will be opened on June 1 and for classes 1 to 5 on June 5 after the summer vacation. Meanwhile, many districts in Tamil Nadu are being scorched by the summer heat. The Minister had said that as the Chief Minister is on a foreign tour, the opening date of the schools will be announced soon.
